Window tint

At Drive car studio we use only ceramic tint, because Ceramic window tinting is an effective means of protecting your eyes and skin from additional light and UV rays. It also prevents fading and damage to your car’s interior. Quality car window tinting can block up to 99.9% of UV radiation.

Being a car studio we strive to use the best and most premium products on the car that we are working on. In the window tint world there is regular tint and ceramic tint.

The main difference between ceramic tint and regular tint is their ability to protect your vehicle from heat and UV rays from the sun. Ceramic tint excels at blocking heat and UV rays plus it does not interfere with GPS signals and other similar technologies.

While it uses the same type of sheets as regular window film, the material is coated with ceramic particles. Ceramic Window Tint does not contain metal, dye, nor carbon, but instead a kind of ceramic particle that is both nonconductive and nonmetallic.

Powder coating

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light.

The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Powder coating is mainly used for coating of metals, such as Rims, Calipers, Engine/car components.

Because powder coating does not have a liquid carrier, it can produce thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging, and powder coating produces minimal appearance differences between horizontally coated surfaces and vertically coated surfaces.

Because no carrier fluid evaporates away, the coating process emits few volatile organic compounds (VOC). Finally, several powder colors can be applied before curing them all together, allowing color blending and bleed special effects in a single layer.

In other words, powder coating it is the best for rims and calipers look and change color!
